"Friday I'm In Love" (The Cure)

So far, Summer and I are on good terms (and that's good, considering it's the first weekend of break). : )

Friday night I spent with Ginnie, Olivia, and Kenna at Ginnie's grandmother's condo, for Ginnie's birthday party. It was freaking amazing. We "watched" Much Ado About Nothing, and Ginnie and Olivia got in hilarious fights.
"Rrrrrrr!"*
"You must really like my foot!"

The condo was... creepy! All night there were odd little noises, and things we thought we saw out of the corner of our eyes!

We had Olivia's camera, and planned on making a short little horror movie (Kenna was going to be THE THING, appropriately, pa ha ha) where the old pantry was... in the basement... behind a door... down a hallway... under the stairs... with a broken light switch... and a camera flash that scared the holy beejeezus out of us. : ) When the flash went off, Olivia and I were cowering behind Ginnie going into it, the flash went off, and Kenna - who was making panicked faces in a corner - screamed at the exact same moment. Holy macaroni... it was fantastic.

Once it got dark, I got up to close the curtains in the living room.
"Someone watch me! So nothing gets me!"
.... (touch).... (me) "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
(Olivia)"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
We were falling over ourselves (crushing all of the potato chips) laughing, while Ginnie and Kenna had no idea why! The curtains were still open.
(Olivia) "Let's go over together... Warning! I am behind you! I might touch you! I repeat! Warning! I am behind you! I repeat! I am behind you!"
(IMPORTANT TO NOTE: all of the curtains were creepy.) : )

Somewhere in the night (11:30 maybe?) I got a really low blood sugar, and the linoleum in the kitchen was doing a little funky dots-made-of-light dance for me.
(Ginnie) "Are you okay? If you need something, we can go get something. There's a store - I think it's still open - there's a store down the street called (serious face) the store."
(Kenna and Olivia)"BA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"
We didn't understand, and Ginnie and I at this point thought that they were possessed. They laughed every time we said "The Store" after that. Don't be surprised if you get a prank phone call from Ginnie saying that. : )
"There's a store down the street called the store. (click.)"

And all night long we had funny conversations ("'What turns guys on: smart girls...'") serious conversations, and drama.
(Why does drama follow everywhere, no matter what?)

I repeat. It was freaking amazing.

Then today was the rest of Ginnie's party! Sadly, Olivia had to leave for Candido's graduation party, but we got Hunter, Lucy, and Lise, and that was pretty fun too. : )

"'Is that a gun?' 'Yes, it is.'"
"'Cool!!'"
"'Can I hold it??' 'No...'"

"Where's the pool key?"
"It's in the bag of Dum-Dums, Dum-Dum." (I love you!) : )

"Agh, my hair's wet!"
"Well, yes, Hunter, it's water..."

By the time I had to leave, I was a freaking prune from being in that pool so long!

And, remembering from one of our conversations... I think all of my friends are beautiful, and talented. : ) Every. Single. One.

I repeat, again. It was freaking amazing.
