1 Year, 12 Months, 52 Weeks, Just Another Day

Today is the one year anniversary of here! Yep, this blog, right here! Weirdness, huh?

To celebrate... I'll do a normal blog post! YAY! So exciting!

Yesterday's rain... for those of you who were in it, you know what it was like. For those of you who don't know... The sky turned purple and yellow! The lightning was flashing and the sky was rumbling! The rain came down in flickering torrents! Ah! It was beautiful! It was fantastic! It was amazing! It was epic! It was brilliant!
It was sort of silly... I was wishing for rain yesterday. : )

And it was worth looking through every single picture.

Today was the first day of marching band! Yaaaay!____\ l l l l l l l l /______
It seemed like the perfect day to go out. Ah, the smell of sunshine on sunscreen!
We learned most of the routine for two of our songs, "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga (something like this), and "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas (something like that). I feel sort of silly doing parts of the routine... but that's what makes it fun. : ) I can't wait until we actually get back to marching through the neighborhoods (and waking up all of the teenagers -ahem, Paige- early)!
Oooh, I can't wait for parades! X )

Marching band is going to make for one awesome summer. : )
