I haven't done a post on what music I'm listening to for a long time, but I still do like music.
"Safe and Sound" -- Taylor Swift featuring The Civil Wars
"MMMBop" -- Hanson
"You Are Loved" -- Josh Groban
"Give a Little" -- Hanson
"Monster Mask" -- Pomplamoose
"Forever Yours" -- Alex Day
"Alohomora" -- Pogo
"Bad Body Double" -- Imogen Heap
"Don't Unplug Me" -- ALL CAPS
"Mary's Magic" -- Pogo
"Here Comes My Baby" -- Sons of Admirals
"Fishing in the Dark" -- Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
"Too Shy" -- Kajagoogoo
"Dystopia" -- YACHT
"What Makes You Beautiful" -- One Direction. The art of boyband-erism is being able to make every single girl (or boy) who listens to their song feel like it's just for them. And One Direction wins out.
"Boyfriend (Hunger Games Parody)" -- Horrible Fiction
"I've Got Nothing" -- Chartjackers
And then, just because it always entertains me, "How to Make Boys Like You"
In non-music-related newsy-type-stuff, the first 1/2 week of summer has been pretty great. Parties, crafts, and friends all make for a good summer of not being bored (knock on wood)! Tomorrow I'll hopefully be going to the Pride Festival. I've sort of started to feel like I insert myself into stuff where I'm not wanted, but... YOLO, I guess. Not in the "raped the poptart section at wally world lol" sort of "#yolo" way, but in the actual "it's a one-time thing, so do it!" way.
The use of "rape" as something to be awed by is a discussion for an entirely different day.
Might as well have fun for a day, because whatever fool you make of yourself will probably be forgotten as soon as the lights turn out.
It always stands true: most people are just as insecure as I am and are probably too busy thinking about their awkwardness to notice mine. Yea for awkwardness!
So accept yourselves, y'all people out roaming the internets. Fun fact: I saw a tumbleweed the other day at school, and that justifies the use of "y'all".
