Music Is Better Live and In Person

Last night, I had a sleepover with Kenna! Sadly, Livvy couldn't make it, so we didn't end up watching a bunch of scary movies... totally going to miss my Olivia when she moves. : ( But she's not gone yet, so it's okay, I suppose.

Tonight, I went to a concert with my parents and my grandma of Artie Hemphill and the Iron Horse Band, and Diamond Rio!

I'd never heard of the Iron Horse Band, but they were good! They did a lot of covers of other country songs, but they had a few originals in there. I liked them all around pretty well!

For some reason, I was obsessed with Diamond Rio's boots. ^_^

The keyboardist is from Utah! He might have gone to BYU, so, you know, "boo" a little, but still! He was pretty awesome. : )

Now, Diamond Rio... My mom has been in love with them for who knows how long. : ) She's the ultra country music lover of the household.

Now, there are some bands that are just BETTER in person! Diamond Rio is definitely one of them! They sound way better than their recordings. But hey, they still sound pretty good in the recordings. You just have to play it good and loud. ("Maybe she'll get up and dance again. Aw, here she comes, here she comes! Left, left, left, right, left... whoo!" Name that country song?)
