I'll Call "This" "That", Otay? Otay.

For an hour now I've had the window open to do this blog post.
Gosh, I get on and off of task really, really easily.

So, I'm back! I got back from Idaho yesterday evening (thinking "Hallelujah! Finally!").

On Saturday we went to the Wet N' Wild parade for Eagle Days, and we (Shantyl and Chesnea) all ganged up on Ian, my uncle Dave, and my aunt SheriAnn with our WATER WEAPONRY. (That's fun to say. Really.) That was before the parade... and actually ended up being more fun than the actual parade. : )

Ian drying off (or trying) after the parade ended.

I can't wait until the next time that I get to go up there. I had so much freaking fun. Even sitting around doing nothing but talking was really freaking fun. Especially around the campfire. : D

And a note? I don't really love s'mores. I just love them because there's chocolate in them. : )

My cousin Jessica's husband Dave is absolutely hilarious! (It's weird to call her my cousin! They seem more like aunts and uncles because of how much older than me they are... they have kids almost as old as me! Anyway...) Jessica says one of the only reasons she's kept him around so long is because he's her comic relief. : )

"I hate St. George! It's all red, and it's like god filleted and sushied the mountains! And it's so hot! If you stand on that red dirt long enough, you can poke a finger through the bottom of your shoe! (points at fire) Look! That's St. George! It's the cauldron of hell!"

(Jessica)"What would you do without me?"
(Dave)"Well, I know how to cook that soup..."
(Jessica)"What's it called?"
(Dave)"Something French... like... la Ramen (storming out door) and el cereal!"
By this time, Jessica was on the floor laughing, literally. "I think I almost peed."

So now, pictures from the rest of the weekend:

Friday, at Eagle Days, there were FIREMEN and a FIRETRUCK!! You know how I love those, right? (Dave caught us right in the middle of "cheese!", I love it.) : )

I call this weirdo my sister. : )

Ian wanted me to get a picture of him on the Perrine Bridge. (cccshch) This is Triangle Grandma to home base: Mission accomplished. (ccshchc) (OMG LOOK LOOK! I found out the name of the bridge. You're proud, I know it.) : D

Spiders creep me out. Luckily, there wasn't one on here, so it had the ability to be awesome. (Shoshone Falls)

Lexie has never not made a face for a picture. I love her. : )
(Grandma glasses alert! I only wear my glasses for long trips... because I sleep half of the time)

Shoshone Falls, and the double rainbow of noon-ness! (Okay, okay, 11:43, but close enough, right?)

It was just a generally all around fantasticallmagicalnessful weekend.

  1. Holas, It's Sunshine :-). Yeah, I live on a coastline, so I have a love for the ocean. I think my parents think the same way about surfing as you ;because, they won't let me go. Snorkling and scuba diving. Oh, that. They are afraid that some weirdo fish or somethin like that would kill me or the air tank would run out of air and I would die. Those sound like excuses for me not to do that kind of stuff. The way the oil from the oil spill is moving is making me think I can't go in the ocean this summer;because of the way the oil is moving. That would just ruin my summer right there. Yeah, you should try boogie boarding. You stay close to the shore and it's a lot of fun!

With your pictures, my favorite is the one with (you guessed it) the waterfall and rainbow. It has a nice essessence (I think that's how you spell that. I'm not such a great speller. I rely on computer spell check) of the scene. I love it. Okay, I'm just throughing this out, but the picture with Ian is really cute . I have my eye on a different boy. One whom I have known for 11 years. We are friends and we both like (the good kind of liking) each other, but he doesn't want to complicate things. I hope he comes to his scences and doesn't let me get away. He seems to ask out people right around me. He asked out my x-best friend. My twin's x-best friend. I feel like the Taylor Swift song You Belong Wth Me. Time shall be the judge of what happens.
Idaho looked like a ton of fun!!

I'm agreeing with Sunshine on my favorite picture! The rainbow is so beautiful. :)
