Winter Break! Ahhh!

Ah, the grand doodles of "There's only a few hours left in school! There's only a few hours left in school! Ah! I have a pen, and there's only a few hours left in school!"

Down the Rabbit Hole
Black, black, tumbling down,
The rabbit hole end will come around.
Falling, flailing, yelling out,
Teacups, tables, short and stout.
Mirrors, mirrors, it's I that I see,
Darkness falling down with me.
Ground, ground, hit softly hard,
Ending a fall down so hard.

Don't ask. I was in the "There's only a few hours left in school!!" mode, I had a pen, and for some reason in the back of this notebook I had something written about Alice in Wonderland and white rabbits and long dark rabbit holes before launching into some notes about the "Stamp Act - early 1765" (The stamp act required that all colonists had to buy tax stamps for items and activities... blah, blah, blah -- I don't even remember most of the things I learned in US History) that made me think of Alice as she fell down the rabbit hole and I don't remember if I remember, but I think I remember that there were a whole bunch of drawers and cupboards (but maybe my remembering isn't really remembering at all).

Anyway. WINTER BREAK! Ahh! Freak out!

I was freaking out all day. "School's almost out! Just THREEEE (holds up three fingers to someone's face) more periods!" Then I would get all happy that I would finally get some nice good old sleep time tomorrow, just to remember that I have to go BACK to the school and do color guard for six hours. (An hour less than school, I know, but it's no fun the day before Christmas Eve!) I predict that we'll be worked to the bone learning routine for our winter show (yaaaaay for routine - FINALLY!), but I hope it will be kinda sorta easy on us. :/ :P XP

(PARENTHESES) DASH - PERIOD. (DASH in PARENTHESES, COMMA PERIOD.)

Tee hee.

Anyway. YAY FOR WINTER BREAK! WOO HOO! The snow today was absolutely perfect. :) I can only hope that it wont melt and turn into slush tomorrow.

  1. Remember that there are a few of us who actually do have school on the day before Christmas Eve.

  2. Well, that really really really stinks. But I was still on winter break yesterday, so I would be happy even though you had school. :) But you don't have school now!
