Dear You All,
For those of you who don't walk to school where we live (who knows?), we had a thick, beautiful, lovely, amazing, refreshing, gracious layer of SMOG today.
Now now, our point of telling of the smog: we would like to thank all of you who idled your cars for anywhere from three minutes up today for probably taking a bit off of our life span. Thank you, gracious people...
You're not gonna DIE from being below 80 degrees in your car in the morning! Suck it up, put on a coat and gloves, and start your car right when you are intending on getting out on the road to where ever it is you're going.
It's winter! We know you wanna be toasty warm! But leave your toasting for the bread! We kinda wish that we had been able to go throughout the day without giving our friendly host a headache that we may or may not contribute to the fact that our host had to walk on a road with a whole bunch of "busy people" with lazy children who decided that they were going to do their hair this morning, so they just "didn't have enough time" to eat breakfast, or "not enough time to walk", or even the energy to keep themselves warm as they walked because they were dumb enough to skip breakfast and must beg someone to drive them to school because "baby, it's cold outside".
So now that we've called everyone lazy, take the time to 1) eat breakfast in the morning so you can actually take advantage of your handy dandy built in space heater -yourself-, 2) bundle up, and 3) walk out of that door and where ever you are going without using a car and be proud that you have helped to save us for another day when Rachel may actually need us (gasp).
Sincerely,
Rachel's Brain Cells
