Career Day

Nothing to write about today, so I will write about everything yesterday.

Yesterday I had a girl scout career day. It was completely awesome! First we visited Leslie, a scientist up at the U of U. She is a full professor of plant biology. It was very interesting, and we got to take home little peitre dishes of mini plants (I love that word, peitre).

Next we visited Jodi, a glass worker, eh, person. She did really cool crafts, although, it was a mess (as in pieces of broken glass all over the floor), but it was still awesome.

Then we visited Amy, an engineer at a Murray firestation (meaning she drives the engine and works with the valves and such). It was pretty cool, because she is one of only two women that work there with 60 men! She said that many women would like to work there, but they can't pass the physical fitness test (she says it is hard, even for her).

So yeah! And we ate delicious pasta from Noodles and Company and got Italian ice!

So how is everyone else's day?
