I survived day 3 of Band Camp (Part 1)! Yea! : ) Band camp has been fantasmagical! Band and color guard is so much fun! If I hadn't been dragged into it in the summer before 9th grade, I don't know what I would be doing with my life right now. It'd all be different! So, yea for band and color guard! In the words of Chase,"Prayer toss, hallelujah!"
Capture the flag, train wreck... ah, that was fun.
Fall's gonna be amazing! Color guard is so much farther ahead now than we were half a month into fall season last year! Ah! So excited!
I have found a new love for 60's (alright, and 70's) music, that may or may not be so very new as I think it is. ; ) I guess I can say that my favorite eras of music are from the 1960's to the early 1990's. Let's see how far it expands before the year ends...
So now, some music, that you can listen to and be happy while I go and read To Kill Me (alternate title). : /
Edison Lighthouse, "Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes" is one of my favorite songs at all now. : )
The Gentrys, "Keep On Dancing" (The way they hop side to side makes me giggle) "The jerk" is an old dance move. Not that the New Boyz would like you to associate "the jerk" with it. : )
The Buckinghams, "Kind Of A Drag"
Donovan, "Mellow Yellow" Which I really like for the chorus and someone saying "electric banana" that way. : D
James Clarke, "Wild Elephants" Which I can have stuck in my head for a long time
The Zombies, "The Look Of Love"
The Move, "Night Of Fear"
The Kinks, "Sunny Afternoon"
The Beatles, "Hey Jude"
The Beatles, "Obladi Oblada" Always makes me happy. ^_^
Don McLean, "American Pie"
The Monkees, "She Hangs Out" ... Again. I can't get over this song, alright? And I still need to learn to dance like Davy. : ) My sister's obsession with The Monkees has mostly transferred to me now, as she moves on to MCR...
The Monkees, "Look Out, Here Comes Tomorrow" If you haven't seen a single episode of The Monkees, you should. : )
The Monkees, "Goin' Down"
The Monkees, "Last Train To Clarksville" Ah!!! I love this song!! : D
The Monkees, "I'm A Believer"
Bobby Vee, "Take Good Care Of My Baby" I'm glad I remembered this one name when it was playing a billion gazillion oldies songs on the TV at a party. : )
Bobby Vee, "The Night Has A Thousand Eyes"
Bobby Vee, "Run To Him"
Dionne Warwick, "Walk On By" I love her voice. : )
The Beatles, "Revolution"
Goodbye, wonderful peoples.
I really agree with the title there >.<
ReplyDeleteOh... and FIZIKS!!!!!!!!! (or PHYSICS!!!!!!!)
Oh, and I have a question, do you know the story behind PHYSICS!!!!!!!?
No, I don't really. I assume that it has something to do with Eva falling(?). The way you say it though, I'm thinking I might not want to know.
ReplyDeleteWell, not really involved with Eva falling, but, oh well. Oh, and do worry, it's nothing bad, it's quite clean indeed. If you want me to tells you, get on gmail and ask me some time and I shall.
ReplyDelete"Do worry". Quite comforting. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha *facepalm* now that, my friend, is officially and EPIC FAIL ON MY PART :P haha, well, that gave the opposite meaning >.<
