I finally finished my To Kill A Mockingbird! Well... the reading part of it. I'm up to, eh, chapter 12 on that darned packet. That packet will be imagined dead when I'm finished with it.
I started on my Greece, Rome, and Middle Ages assignment! So far, the research has been really easy. If it's only four pages (hallelujah for double spacing!) then I'll have this done really easily. Why did I ever dread it?
In other news: library, you are my best research buddy ever. Yes, I love you more than Google. Feel special, library.
Map quiz on Europe? Ha ha ha, I laugh. It shall be tackled as easily as ninth grade, with my handy dandy story! Thank you, Mr. Curtis. I will never forgive you for burning that image of the guinea pig giving birth into my mind. But thank you, for everything besides that.
Looking forward to tenth grade (and sociology, and drawing, and AP Euro, and psychology), saying, "I can do this! I can do this!! I CAN DO THIS!!!"
Looking backwards to first grade (and snack time, and recess, and shapes, and class pets), saying, "I miss you! I miss you!! I MISS YOU!!!"
Ah, well. Can't get everything you want, not even cookies.
I want more shooting stars. : )
"And it gave birth to the guinea baby!" (Hand motions being done) Yeah, Mr. Curtis burned that into all our heads :P And the Bikini Fatsos (shudder here) but, I enjoyed how Carter used the guinea pig giving birth in his song story thingy that was a legend thingy, and it was just a fun thingy. Good job on the To Kill a Mockingbird thingy... I finished the packet Friday (I pretty much had to reread the book because I didn't do any questions while I read, and did the questions like two weeks after I read) Good luck with the essay, that's all I have left to do... lucky me :P haha
ReplyDeleteSo, sorry for talking with thingies and talking longily and and such, so, yeah.
I guess you like to talk about "thingies"? /:)
ReplyDeleteI've still got like, 14 chapters left to type up on my To Kill A Mockingbird. I'm fine with that, actually. Now I'm dreading having to rewrite it by hand. X( In pen, I didn't think it could get worse... but printing too... agh... bring on the whiteout, man.
Ha ha I was glad my group didn't force me to read my legend out loud... ha ha everyone's was all about war, and mine's a freaking fairy love story... ha ha that was not my favorite day of Mr. Curtis' class. But I agree, Carter's song was pretty awesome. :)
...I don't know why, but the bikini fatsos never really bugged me. It's probably because he didn't have any hand motions for that. lol
Hey there, thanks for linking to my blog ^^
