"I should blog about today..."
^How many times have I said that to myself in the past week? I wonder if you know... because I sure don't. And now I don't remember most of the things that happened. So here's the skinny on ma' (boring) life.
Last week there was a color guard clinic and tryouts. Everyone made it (happily, not a surprise)! Our new instructor is Eva Neves, Mr. Neves the band teacher's daughter. I really like her so far! Summer and fall should be good seasons! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MARCHING BAND AGAIN! Aaaahhh!! I'd been suffering from acute oh-em-gee-I'm-surrounded-by-shrieking-girls-who-can't-get-along-I-need-the-band-itis ever since fall ended last year. (Yes. That's a real disease.)
Aaand... we had CRTs. Everyone was saying they thought the English CRTs were really easy, but even if so, I really hated them. Really it's just because they care about comprehension... and I hate reading their boring stories. :P Now, the Algebra 2 CRTs were heaven. :) I love that class.
It's hard to believe that next year I'm going to have different teachers in a different school... This will be a lot different than the transition from elementary to middle school. During that transition, I really didn't have anything to miss, besides recess (which I still miss). But now I have all these teachers that I really do like... Ms. Beatty, Senora Thatcher, Schnegg, Ms. Ewell, Mr. Curtis... I'll miss some of these good ol' teachers. Of course, it'll be nice to get a new start on a new year with new classes and new people. Change makes the world go round!
(Seriously, imagine how boring life would be if it was the same all the time!)
And uh... the weather was nice some day last week...
Yeah. My boringness.
Well, I'm really looking forward to Shakespeare Day too! I just hope that I can get over my procrastination (I still need to make my cape!) so that I can get my costume done adequately. Yay!
CRTs are boring simply because they are so tediously easy. :P But that's more okay this year, since we're doing them on the computers, Mrs. Thurnau can see when we're all done (Which is usually after 10 minutes) and then we get to screw around. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm not really looking forward to doing my Biology CRTs on the computer... I'm a sucker for pencil and paper.
