Happy St. Patty's, Happy Spring

Happy St. Patty's Day! I got pinched in gym today, because I took off my shamrock socks...

This Saturday is the official first day of spring! My parents will no longer be able to excuse Utah's weather because "Well, it's still winter," because it won't be! HA! The daffodils are growing and look like they'll bloom sometime soon, and the tulips and grape hyacinths are coming up too! Yay! My favorite part of spring and summer is the grape hyacinths. :)

I wish that I had a recorder... just because the sounds today were as amazing as the things I found in my yard (pictures do no justice, because my camera more or less committed suicide today, and took down most pictures with it). The birds were all calling, and it was wonderful! I didn't realize how much I really have missed having the birds around. I'm so so so ready to have winter over and done with. Spring, come happily my way! (Oooh, I hope we have April showers...) :)
