Wowzers! Every year I forget how jam packed with fun February is!
Happy birthday, Lexie!
Happy birthday, Olivia!
Happy birthday, a million family members who I can't think of!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Presidents Day! (Is there an apostrophe in there?)
Happy Olympics!
On the topic of the Olympics... I spent the greater part of last night watching them over at my grandparents' house. We watched most of the pairs figure skating short program, and freestyle ski.
Shen and Zhao opened the pairs short program, and they were amazing! (Wish I could find a video, but apparently not... so here's 2002, which was great, but not as amazing!) They got 76.66 I believe, apparently a new record! I was cheering for China the whole way by then. They also got first, followed closely by Germany (which I didn't get to see... my mom made us leave as it was starting juuuust because she doesn't like the song Send in the Clowns) who were behind only by .7 I believe. :)
In freestyle ski, I'm really glad that Canada won first! Woot woot!
Luge was intense! So fast! One second and you have to switch to a different camera along the track!
(The only reason I wish we had HDTV: Olympics.) :)
