This picture was from last year's art class. Sadly, the paper we did it on was far too big to scan the entirety of, so this is just the bottom portion. From the same time that I was obsessed with drawing hands....
Enjoying my National Geographic. :)
I've been reading an issue on Neanderthals that is interesting. Did you know that Neanderthals had to eat almost twice the amount of calories that modern humans do daily? This may have been hard, pushing females and children into hunting alongside men, and possibly eventually leading into cannibalism.
The European bee-eater catches flying insects right in midair, and keeping true to their name, bees included. They dislike using nests that are pre-existing, so they will spend up to 20 days to excavate their own, as long as a human leg and as wide as a fist, in sandstone cliffs or riverbanks. This means they move 15 to 26 pounds of soil and chipped off 1/16" of their beak.
Drawing hands? Hands could be quite creepy. Have you ever tried drawing something creepy?
ReplyDeleteYes, I have. Hasn't turned out too very creepy though. I bet I could do a creepy one... ha ha, if I could possibly find the time.
