Many many years ago I was completely obsessed with David Bowie. Yes. And I just realized this again, by watching the music video for Rebel Rebel.
If no one knows who David Bowie is, you may have seen him in the movie Labyrinth. In seventh grade we watched it at school? Everyone thought he was really freaky... but I couldn't help but sing along with the songs! I think people really might have thought I was crazy.
Crazy? I was crazy once... in Alabama! No, I have never been to Alabama. But my memories have!
"Shelbie! Come with me to Alabama!"
I have a particular childhood memory of going to a funeral and losing my parents and grabbing some random guy's hand. Seriously, what could be worse than dead people AND weird old people?? (Well, I knew someone who left their kid in a funeral home overnight before they remembered him 0.0 , so I guess that takes the cake.)
People who say: Oh, you just want to have your cake and eat it too! Why yes! What's the purpose of having cake if you're not going to eat it?
People point to their wrist when they ask you the time. I know where my watch is buddy? Where's yours?
People who say: It's always in the last place you look. Of COURSE it's in the last place you look? Why would you keep looking for it after you found it? Where are these people and who are they?
I think I've gotten ^ that email about a billion times, and I still laugh at it every time. Never gets old. :D
Aaaaanyway, back to David Bowie. HA HA HA HA HA!
I love that e-mail! I always vring up the cake thing when I'm talking about stupid things people say. Have you ever heard this conversation:
ReplyDelete"What did you say?"
"Nothing."
"That's what I thought you said."
No, that's not what you thought they said, becaus if you thought they hadn't said anything, you wouldn't have asked them what they said, stupid!
Sorry, I'm just rambling. :D
Ha ha, and "Can I ask you a question?" Well, didn't give me much choice there, did ya sunshine? :D
