Nothing in Particular

Today I had color guard again. Still fun, but we learned gate turns, and they are pretty hard, since you have to remember to reduce your step size as soon as the first line begins the turn. It will be especially hard once the band has their instruments and we have our flag routines. I also found out that the first parade is on the 27th, which is kind of a relief, but kind of stressing as well. I will be at Oakcrest with Cierra that whole week before! That means I won't be at practice, and I doubt I will get any practice while I am there, except with perhaps a broom. But then again, I am told I am a worry wort.

I also had a diabetes doctor appointment today. For those of you who don't know, I have had type 1 diabetes since I was in second grade. Not fun stuff, but you learn to deal. That took up a lot of time, maybe two hours, plus at least an hour driving back from the U. I hate diabetes doctor appointments.

I found out my new favorite thing! I came up with "Rachel's Book of Awesome". Yep. I am that cool (excuse my egotistical way of wording). I guess I love it mostly because of my red pen. Ahh, I love red pen. Even though I know it supposedly stresses people out (because of school, no doubt), mine is fantastic for drawing. I <3 drawing. I just fill up the book with awesome things, whether it is pictures, stickers, game pieces, drawings, letters, places, people, etc. I guess it is kinda like a weird scrapbook, only, I hate scrapbooking, so this is cooler.

Blah blah blah, how was your day?
